March and April came and went, and May, here you are. Spring has been filled with birthdays, trains, rain, and family time.

Spring skipped April entirely and it is finally feeling like it has arrived. Things have dried out over the past few days and we’ve embraced all things spring- which mostly consists of not having to be inside anymore and planning our garden.

After a Mother’s Day brunch we got out for a quick hike. The bump is not from having seconds of strawberry rhubarb crisp or to-die-for-biscuits, but rather my quickly growing baby belly!! We’ll keep getting out while we can for hikes, with Jeff carrying Abe, and me carrying little brother or sister!

And while a bit early for summer, we thought we’d give Abe a taste of what’s to come. He thoroughly enjoyed his first ear of corn.

Wow. And I thought Benjamin got messy when he was eating. Go Abe!! Show that corn who’s boss!!
