I (Sarah here) had a Great-Aunt Polly (aka AP), an amazing lady who loved all things yellow. When Chris visited this past April and I brought Abe out in this outfit he commented that it was an Aunt Polly outfit. Fantastic shades of yellow, I took these pictures today, as Abe is going to outgrow the outfit by tomorrow. I smile thinking how much AP would love not only this outfit, but our little Abe.
Keeping Busy
We’ve had a busy schedule these last few weeks. My maternity leave ended and I am back to work. We are very lucky and have flexible employers, so Abe is joining us at work for the next couple weeks.
Both at home and work, the musical-vibrating papasan is one of Abe’s favorite places to be. He is developing his hand-eye coordination, and has recently discovered the ability to shove his fingers, and anything he can grasp, into his mouth.
We’re slowly crossing items off our to-do list, fixing little things around the house, creating piles, and making more lists. We’re also making the most of our remaining time in Flagstaff, spending time with friends…
Attending the annual pancake breakfast at our neighborhood fire department…
Enjoying some local cuisine…this is the remainder of a Navajo taco, which I’m guessing we won’t find in West Virginia.
And taking lots of pictures of Abe wherever we go.
House for sale!
If you’re interested in an affordable place just outside Flagstaff, our house in Kachina Village just went up on the MLS! It has been a great first home for Sarah and I. We’ve spent a little over five years here and we’ll miss it. It’s too bad Abe won’t remember his first home, or Flagstaff.
