Sarah and Jeff and Abe and Josie

The eve of Abe’s two month birthday found him sitting on the couch watching the season finale of West Wing Season 1 with his parents. He looked like a big boy in his t-shirt and pants, holding his head up.

Yesterday was his two month check up, along with his first round of vaccinations. It’s tough to recall who cried more, Abe or his mom. It was painful watching him get the vaccinations, but the Batman band-aids made it a little better (I think Jeff may want some for his first aid kit!).

We watch Abe grow everyday, but it was nice to have the doctor put some numbers to it. Abe has grown 3.3 inches since he was born- for a total length of 23.3 inches and is up to a whopping 11 pounds 5 ounces!

Sarah picked up a new travel crib/cradle today and couldn’t help getting some footage of the little man at work.

Just as life was settling into a routine, last week we travelled to Iowa for Kevin and Melissa’s wedding. The wedding was wonderful and it was great to get to spend so much time with family. Jeff took most of the pictures, so pictures of Uncle Kevin and Auntie Melissa will follow soon.

Abe was a stellar traveller- and after our return flight on the “baby train” we realize that traveling with a 7 week old is much easier than a 10 month old.
